Muse is a Non Profit Organisation focused on ending period poverty and stigma in South Africa.

Every girl should be in school.

A period should not prevent that.

About us

Muse is a South Coast–based non-profit committed to ending period poverty through sustainable period products and menstrual education.

We work with girls in under-resourced communities, helping them stay in school, understand their bodies, and reclaim their dignity. We offer products that fit the reality of their environment—biodegradable or reusable—always aiming to offer something meaningful and sustainable, while encouraging each girl to take pride in what she receives.

Muse isn’t just a charity. It’s a movement. One rooted in ownership, pride, and the belief that when we support her, she can support her future.

You Donate.We Equip.
They Thrive.

Through your funding we are able to connect with communities through outreach; providing education and period kits. In collaboration with Safe Pads, we distribute sustainable and environmentally conscious reusable period kits that last upto 5 years.

Our education focuses on understanding fertility cycles thus making pregnancy a conscious choice. We aim to uplift and encourage individuals, showing them that they are valued, loved and capable of infinite possibilities.

All funds go into sourcing sustainable, reusable and environmentally friendly menstruation products, education and connecting with the girls in their communities. This directly impacts their attendance at school, helping to alleviate period poverty in South Africa.

Fundraising

Our Aim is to educate, alleviate and eradicate period poverty in our communities. We reach our objectives by doing outreaches in the
